The new Seattle University website launched in June after a year-long project. This comprehensive initiative included developing a content strategy and implementing strategic priorities such as updating the information architecture, refreshing all content, and enhancing visual design with new photography and video. The redesign also introduced an updated sitemap, optimized search functionality, a robust program finder, and a new web governance framework.
Role and Responsibilities:
I was a member of the website strategy group, meeting weekly for over a year to discuss various aspects of the website project, communication, and launch. I oversaw the visual and conceptual elements, ensuring the site aligned with the brand’s identity and strategic goals.
Key deliverables: Multimedia integration – Coordinated with different groups across campus to acquire, integrate, and organize images and videos needed for their sections. Key metrics updates to ensure continuous tracking and conversion updates to maintain data integrity and performance monitoring without disruption.
Award Winning Website:
The website won gold for the Educational Digital Marketing Awards for the website redesign.
